What it is

Biorevitalization without needles

WiQo PRX-T33 is a medical device with a patented formula that combines 33% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and hydrogen peroxide. Applied topically by massage, the active ingredients are absorbed deep into the skin, where TCA stimulates fibroblast proliferation and new collagen production.

Hydrogen peroxide modulates the TCA, turning an intensive 33% peel into a non-invasive treatment that does not exfoliate the epidermis and causes no frosting. Launched by WiQo in 2012, PRX-T33 introduced needle-free biorevitalization, with a tightening and brightening effect from the very first session.

Stimulates the dermis without peeling the epidermis

Applied alone, TCA coagulates skin proteins and causes frosting, while hydrogen peroxide is not absorbed. Combined at pH 2 in PRX-T33, they form a new molecular species that crosses the skin barrier and splits once inside the skin, so that TCA can reach the dermis.

Trichloroacetic acid (TCA)

Stimulates fibroblast proliferation and new collagen production. It activates the skin stress response system and the release of growth factors, with a well-balanced inflammatory response.

Hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂)

The patented modulator. It lets TCA cross the skin barrier without frosting, speeds up healing, increases the availability of growth factor receptors and modulates inflammation.

Kojic acid

A tyrosinase inhibitor with a lightening effect that helps prevent post-inflammatory pigmentation. It is also antioxidant and bacteriostatic.

Clinical study of the TCA and hydrogen peroxide formulation on 5 women aged 49–72, Fitzpatrick skin types II–III, with mild to moderate facial wrinkles. They received 4 sessions one week apart, with daily home care, and were evaluated by the investigator at each visit.

Tone, smoothness, texture, redness and overall appearance improved significantly from baseline. The treatment was well tolerated and no adverse events were observed.

Is PRX-T33 a chemical peel?

No. Hydrogen peroxide modulates the 33% TCA, so PRX-T33 does not exfoliate the epidermis and causes no frost. Instead of peeling the surface, it stimulates the dermis, which is why WiQo calls it needle-free biorevitalization.

Which patients is PRX-T33 designed for?

Patients with skin elastosis of the face, neck, décolleté or body, hyperpigmentation and melasma, or atrophic scars and stretch marks. It is suitable for all skin types and ages, on phototypes I to VI.

How does PRX-T33 differ from PRX-PLUS and PRX S?

Each targets a different primary concern. PRX-T33 is for skin elastosis, PRX-PLUS for photodamaged skin and PRX S for oily and acne-prone skin. All three share the PRX technology and the WiQo massage technique.

When are results visible, and how long do they last?

Results are visible from the first treatment and become persistent after 3–5 applications. They are long-lasting after a complete cycle: a maintenance session is recommended after 45 days, and a full cycle twice a year helps maintain them.

Is it painful, and is there any downtime?

The treatment is painless: a slight tingling during application is normal. There is no recovery time, so patients do not need to interrupt their social life, and PRX-T33 can be performed all year round.

Is home care part of the protocol?

Yes. WiQo Nourishing and Moisturizing Cream for Dry Skin is the necessary post-treatment. WiQo ICP SPF 50+ and WiQo Smoothing Fluid protect the skin and stimulate its turnover, helping prolong the results.
