How should PRX-T33® be stored in a clinical setting?
PRX-T33® must be kept in cold chain at all times and stored in the refrigerator between +2°C and +8°C — including after opening the vial. This applies to all WiQo® PRX products.
How long does a session take and how many are required?
A single session takes 10 to 15 minutes. The standard protocol consists of an average of 4 sessions — every 7 days for normal and thick skin, every 14 days for sensitive skin. Maintenance sessions are recommended every 45 days after the full cycle, with a second cycle after 6 months.
What are the main contraindications?
PRX-T33® should not be applied on irritated or broken skin, open wounds, seborrheic or atopic dermatitis, herpetic eruptions, nevi or sunburned skin. It is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If the patient is using topical retinoic acid, use must be suspended 15 days before treatment.
Can PRX-T33® be used in summer?
Yes. PRX-T33® does not thin the epidermal layers, is not photosensitizing and requires no downtime. It can be performed safely year-round, including summer months, on all phototypes from 1 to 6.
Which aesthetic treatments can be combined with PRX-T33®?
PRX-T33® is frequently used as a primer to enhance the results of microneedling (the most recommended combination), non-ablative laser, RF, injectable biorevitalization, PDO threads, fillers, carboxytherapy and PRP. The temporary tissue turgor induced by PRX-T33® can also reduce pain and bruising risk in subsequent injectable procedures.
Are there facial areas that require specific caution during application?
Application should be avoided on the outer corners of the eyes, nasal ala and labial commissures. Extra caution is advised in the periocular area — apply a single light layer only to avoid post-treatment swelling. On prominent cheekbones and acne-prone skin, massage gently to avoid abrasions.
